Pizza Bites

Pizza Bites

The current viral sensation are the Crazy Puffs from Little Caesars pizza. I knew as soon as I saw these, I could make them! Thats exactly what I did! I think my Hubby ate 4 of these LOL. Safe to say he LOVED them!!! The fun part with these are that you can add any toppings that you would like. You can definitely get creative with these. For my toppings, I used pepperoni and sausage. If you use sausage, fully cook about 2-3 oz of pork sausage (breakfast sausage) and set aside.

In a bowl, add 1 tbsp of butter, 1 tsp of minced garlic, 1 tsp of garlic salt and 1 tsp of dried oregano. Heat in the microwave until the butter has melted.

Roll the can of pizza dough onto a cutting board. Generously brush the garlic butter on top of the pizza dough.

Using a 2 1/2 inch round cookie cutter, cut 6-9 circles in the dough. You may need to refurbish some of the excess dough to make more pizza bites. I was able to get 9 circles total.

Spray your muffin pan generously with cooking spray. Add each circle to the muffin pan.

Layer each dough with 1/2 tsp of pizza sauce, 1 tsp of mozzarella cheese, sausage/pepperoni and top with more cheese and sprinkle dried oregano on top. Repeat steps until all of them are filled.

Cook in a 400 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese has fully melted and they are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and set aside to allow them to cool. Caution, they will be extremely hot. Serve with ranch dressing or marinara sauce. Serve and ENJOY!
