Honey Buffalo Wings

Honey Buffalo Wings

Its playoffs time and I know football parties are constantly happening this time of the year. Which also means wing places are booming right now! If you want to make your own wings, then this is the perfect recipe for you. They are easy and super delicious! I cut 2 lbs of whole wings into a flat and a drumette and put them in a bowl. Season the wings with 2 tbsp of garlic powder, 2 tbsp onion powder, 2 tbsp cajun seasoning, 2 tbsp paprika and 1 tbsp of lemon pepper seasoning and mix well. Make sure the wings are fully coated in the seasonings.

Add 3-4 cups of vegetable oil to a cast iron skillet or a deep fryer. Once the oil reaches 350 degrees, add 8-10 wings at a time (depending on the size of the pan) and fully cook 8-12 minutes or until the wings reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Be sure not to over crowd your skillet. Repeat until all of the wings are cooked. Set the wings on a baking rack to drain any excess oil. Optional: you could also air fry the wings if you do not want to deep fry.

In a skillet, add 1 tbsp of butter. Once the butter melts, add 1 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce, 1/3 cup of honey and 1 tsp of lemon pepper seasoning and stir. Cook 3-5 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Add the cooked wings to a bowl and pour the sauce on top of the wings and toss well. Make sure the wings are fully coated in the sauce.

Serve with ranch and your favorite side dish. Serve and ENJOY!
