Jalapeno Popper Dip

Jalapeno Popper Dip

If you need a dip for any party or just on a random day, I PROMISE you will love this dip. This is the one!!!! I took my normal Jalapeno Popper recipe and turned it into a dip. Its super easy and cheesy, yes, I know that rhymed LOL :) You can get creative with this dip by adding different cheeses. I served this dip with crackers but you could also use chips instead. Add 1/2 package (8 oz) of pork sausage (breakfast sausage) to a skillet and fully cook. Once the sausage is cooked, set aside.

Fully cook 8 slices of bacon. Once fully cooked, set aside and then chop the bacon into small pieces. Save some of the bacon pieces for a garnish on top of the dip.

Dice 5-6 fresh jalapeno peppers. WEAR GLOVES or your fingers will burn. If you dont want too much spice in the dip, remove the seeds fully. If you want a hint of spice, keep some of the seeds. Save some of the diced jalapeno for a garnish on top of the dip.

In a bowl, add 1 package of softened cream cheese (8 0z), 1 package of chives & onion cream cheese, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of shredded parmesan cheese, diced jalapenos, the cooked bacon pieces and the cook pork sausage. Mix well.

Add the mixture to a casserole dish and spread evenly.

Top with extra shredded cheddar cheese and put in a 400 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until all of the cheese has melted.

Remove from the oven and top with extra bacon pieces and diced jalapenos.

Serve with Ritz crackers and ENJOY!!!!
