Buffalo Chicken Dip

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Football season is upon us, which means tailgating and watch parties are in full affect! This dip is the perfect appetizer for the watch parties. It’s also one of those “you better get there early” dips or you will miss out. By now, you know I am all about simple and easy and this appetizer is no different. I used a store-bought roasted chicken for this recipe but feel free to cook 2 chicken breasts and use that instead. If you use the store-bought chicken, cut the chicken breasts into 2 cups of chicken and set aside.

In a bowl, add 1 block of softened cream cheese, the diced chicken, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce, 1 tbsp of sour cream, 1/2 cup of diced celery and 1 tsp of garlic salt. Mix well.

Add to an oven safe dish and put into a 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until the dip is creamy.

Once the dip is creamy stir well and top with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and spread it on top. Put it back in the oven for 10 more minutes and broil for 1 minute so that it has a golden brown crust on top.

Remove from the oven and top with fresh diced celery. Serve with chips or bread and ENJOY!
