Salmon Bites W/Garlic Cream Sauce

Salmon Bites w/ Garlic Cream Sauce

Salmon bites are the new hot thing on social media so I figured I would jump on the bandwagon as well. I decided to make a savory sauce with them besides the normal sweet and spicy sauces I have been seeing. Anytime salmon is involved, lemon, garlic and butter will work every time. Those flavors enhance the taste of the salmon. Grab a whole salmon and remove the skin. If you like the skin on, you can keep it but I find the bites work better with the skin off. Your preference.

Remove the skin and cut the salmon into 2 inch pieces.

Add the salmon bites to a bowl and season them with 1 tbsp of garlic powder, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tbsp cajun seasoning, 1 tbsp of paprika and 1 tsp of lemon pepper seasoning and mix well. Make sure each pice of salmon is fully coated in seasoning.

In a skillet, add 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tsp of vegetable oil. Once the butter has melted, add the salmon bites. Make sure not to over crowd the pan. You may have to cook multiple batches of salmon depending on the size of your skillet.

Cook the salmon bites 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are fully cooked. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of butter, 1 tbsp of minced garlic, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1/2 cup of heavy cream and parsley flakes. Season with salt and pepper (to taste) and cook 3-5 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Serve the sauce on the side or drizzle on top of the salmon bites. Serve with rice for a complete meal. Serve and ENJOY!
