Taco Pasta

Taco Pasta

This recipe is another quick, 30 minute one pot meal that your family will definitely love. Its easy, cheesy and so flavorful! You can use any pasta you prefer for this recipe but I love it with pasta shells. The little cups pick up the delicious sauce and you get everything all in one bite. You can also substitute the ground beef to ground turkey or chicken as well. Just make sure to switch the beef broth to chicken broth. Brown 1 lb of ground meat until it is fully cooked and drain any excess oil.

Season the ground beef with 1 pack of Taco Seasoning, 1 tbsp onion powder and 1 tbsp garlic powder and mix well.

Stir in 1 tbsp of tomato paste and mix well. Add 1 10 oz can of Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies and 1/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce and stir well.

Add 3 cups of pasta shells to the pot. Stir and then add 4 cups of beef broth. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the pasta is cooked.

Once the pasta is cooked, add 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper and optional: cayenne pepper or cajun seasoning for spice. Mix well and add 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.

Serve with garlic bread and salad for a complete meal. ENJOY!
