Creamy Dirty Spaghetti

Creamy Dirty Spaghetti

Currently, Dirty Spaghetti is going viral on the internet and I was tagged by so many people to make my version and thats what I did. I can truly say that this dish will be in our weekly routine and I’m certain it will be in yours as well! Its easy, flavorful, delicious and has super quick cleanup, my kind of dish!!! Dirty Spaghetti was created to mimic “dirty rice” and it has all of the flavors but each time I saw it online, it looked dry. So to make sure mine was not dry, I added a creamy factor to it and it came out perfect! I am warning you now, you will be addicted to this dish!!! Start by fullying cooking 1 lb of ground beef and 1 lb of italian sausage…..DO NOT drain the excess oil! That gives this dish extra flavor. Fully cook 1 package of spaghetti noodles according to package directions and set aside.

In the same pot, add 1 diced yellow bell pepper, 1 diced red bell pepper, 1 diced green bell pepper and ½ diced yellow onion and stir.

Add 1 tbsp of minced garlic and season with 1 tbsp of onion powder, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp cajun seasoning, 1 tsp dried oregano and ½ tsp of red pepper flakes and stir well.

Create a small circle in the middle of the mixture and add 2 tbsp of tomato paste and stir well.

Add 2 tbsp of flour and stir well. Cook about 1 minute to cook the flour taste out of the mixture.

Pour 1 package of onion soup package and stir well.

Pour 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce and 4 cups of beef broth to the mixture and stir well.

Cover the pot with a lid and cook on medium heat for 20-25 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Remove the lid and add the cooked spaghetti noodles to the mixture and stir well.

Pour ½ cup of heavy cream to the pasta and stir well.

Stir well and garnish with fresh parsley on top and serve with garlic bread and salad for a complete meal. Serve and ENJOY!
