Oven-Baked Jerk Wings

Jerk Wings

I made these oven-baked jerk wings for my Husband’s birthday and everyone was raving about them so I knew I needed to add them to the blog. They were super easy and extremely flavorful! You can keep the wings whole or cut them like I did, either way, they will be delicious. I used a pre-made jerk marinade for this recipe but you can make your own as well. You know Im all about simple and easy. Please note, these are spicy so if you dont like spicy, this recipe is not for you. If you do like spicy, these are perfect! They arent too spicy where you cant enjoy them, they are the right amount of spice. Start by cutting whole wings into drums and flats.

Season the chicken wings with 1 1/2 tbsp of vegetable oil, 2 tbsp of cajun seasoning, 2 tbsp of garlic powder, 2 tbsp of onion powder and 1 tbsp of paprika and mix well. Make sure each wing is fully coated with seasoning.

Add 2 1/2 tbsp of Walkerswood Traditional Jamaican Jerk marinade to the wings and mix well again. Make sure each wing is fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Add the wings to a baking rack and add to the oven. This will make the wings crispy and tender. Cook in the oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the wings are fully cooked and tender.

Remove from the oven and allow the wings to rest for at least 5 minutes. This will allow the juices to continue flowing through the wings and make them extra tender.

Serve with your favorite side dish. ENJOY!
